Speed limiter for taxis

In the past, warning chimes were installed in taxis to alert drivers when they exceeded a preset speed limit.

Today, we have powerful taxi models that put many continental sedans to shame. 

A Hyundai Sonata taxi can easily pull ahead of me by three or four car lengths after the lights turn green.

With the recent accidents, the authorities should reintroduce the speed limiter in taxis, 

which should not be regulated the same as private cars.

PS:

There will always have good and bad drivers.

If really need speed limiter, might as well limit all car's speed to 80km/h.
