From 'missing' to mailing....

Was she touring alone or with family/friends?
Why she just inform them that she was going to change cloths?

Why didn't he just get his friends to do the delivery?
He was lucky that they found him in time.
Does this consider 'suicide' if he died?

Olympics: Police lose keys to Wembley Stadium

Police guarding Wembley Stadium where Olympic football matches are being played revealed Monday that they have lost a set of keys to the venue.
Officers searching the stadium in London ahead of the start of the Games misplaced the keys, prompting an investigation by Scotland Yard, but organisers insisted that security has not been compromised.
Organisers stressed that the keys were for internal doors and the relevant locks have now been changed.
Scotland Yard is not treating the incident as a criminal matter.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "On the morning of Tuesday 24 July officers on Olympic police operations at Wembley stadium reported that internal security keys, being used by them as part of searches, were missing."
She said officers searched the stadium but could not find the keys.
"Detectives also attended to ascertain if there was any evidence of criminal offences," the spokeswoman said. "There's none at this time."
She added: "There is absolutely no security concern in relation to the stadium as measures were taken immediately to secure all key areas of the venue."
A spokesman for London 2012 dismissed fears that security had been breached.
"These were internal keys, locks have been changed and the security of the venue has not been compromised in any way," he said.
Wembley, England's national stadium, is one of six venues being used for the football tournament and hosted Great Britain men's 3-1 victory over the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
Both gold medal matches will be played there.

PS:
So important, also can lose?
So does this proved that they are not really prepared for it?
How can they not had backup keys for it?

If both mother & wife in the water...who would you save 1st?

A man caught in a desperate situation chose to save his drowning wife first before his mother,
who were both in a boating accident,
has angered his family while receiving tremendous support from the public for his actions.

According to an online source, Xiao Guo, 28, had taken his 52-year-old mum, Madam Sun, and his wife, Xiao Qing, on a fishing trip to Dianbu River.

His mother was casting the net when his wife leaned over the same side and the boat capsized.
Neither of them could swim.

In this desperate situation, Xiao Guo acted immediately, jumping in to save his wife instead of his mother first.

The Anhui province resident from China said that he had heard of people asking married couples the question, 'If your mother and your wife were drowning, who would you save?' He never thought that it would happen to him.

He said, 'My wife has never asked me that question, but I've thought about it and I told myself I must rescue my mother first.' However when it came to the actual situation, he found himself doing the exact opposite.

Xiao Guo's father was enraged by his choice and reporters heard him yelling at his son at the hospital,'Your mother was drowning and you only thought about your wife! She was hanging on to the boat already! How much danger was she in that you have to take her to shore first?

Of course, you must rescue your mother first! Don't you care about her? She is very weak!
She just had gallbladder operation!'

Both women made it out of the waters alive as Xiao Guo managed to reach his mum and drag her out in time. Doctors told him that if he had been two minutes too late his mother would not have made it, having taken too much water into her lungs.

Madam Sun told reporters she was not angry with her son and had forgiven him,
afterall her son had saved her.

Xiao Guo insists that he acted on his instincts as his wife was nearer to him.

In an online poll conducted by ifeng.com, nearly 54% of the survey's 19,562 respondents supported Xiao Guo's actions to save the family member closest to him. Only 2,963 felt that he should have saved his mother first.

Arrested for overdue library 'Twilight' book

(CBS/AP) ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A New Mexico woman who says she doesn't remember checking out either the "Twilight" book or the two-DVD movie set from the library had to endure her own Twilight saga.
She was arrested in front of her children and spent a night in jail for not returning the materials to the library.
The Albuquerque Journal reports Lori Teel was arrested and handcuffed at her Portales home in front of her five small children earlier this month for the $36 worth of 'Twilight' items that had gone unreturned since 2010.
Her attorney says arrest warrants were mailed last year to an address at which Teel hadn't lived since childhood, but she was taken into custody June 12 by officers investigating a disturbance.
While there, officers realized there was a warrant for her arrest, CBS affiliate KRQE reported.
"Honestly, it was awful," Teel said of the arrest and her night in the Roosevelt County Detention Center. "For me, it was very awful because I have never been in trouble for anything in my life."
Her children, ages 1 to 10, stayed in a neighbor's home until Teel was released the following morning on $610 bond, according to KRQE.
"My kids are still very emotional," Teel said. "They had to stay with a complete stranger. My 3-year-old is traumatized over it. She will not leave my side."
Teel's lawyer sent letters to Portales and Roosevelt County officials on Tuesday alerting them that Teel plans to file legal action for the arrest.
Stay tuned for the next chapter in Lori Teel's Twilight saga.

PS:
Are you kidding me?
This also can get arrested for?
And this happened in USA, New Mexico.
And this country is proud of its stand on freedom.

13yo schoolboy became a hero

The quick-thinking of 13-year-old schoolboy Jeremy Wuitschick in stopping a school bus after the driver had apparently suffered a heart attack ensured he, and the 12 other students who were on the same bus, walked out safe and sound.

CCTV footage from inside the bus shows Wuitschick, a student from Washington, rushing forward to the bus driver's seat to take the keys out of ignition and steered the bus to the side after the driver had collapsed in his seat.

When interviewed, Wuitschick said that the only thought in his head was that he didn't want to die when he raced forward to try and prevent things from going downhill.

STOMPer SparkPlugWitWicky, who came across this story online, wrote:

"I salute young Jeremy Wuitschick for keeping his cool amidst the anxiety going on in the bus.

"To have been educated about the safety measures to adopt during a situation is one thing, but to remain calm and execute it is another -- that is why Wuitschick is a hero in my eyes.

"The kids may not have known how to do CPR on the bus driver but at least they're all safe, thanks to the quick wit of Jeremy Wuitschick."

PS:
Its really surprising that this 13yo schoolboy is able to keep his cool.
And because of this, he saved alot of people,
Boy, I salute you!
You are a hero!

Bali...Ladies' favour paradise?

Bali...a known beach paradise to many.
With many beautiful beaches and sea.
But is it really just a beach paradise only?
I never been there before.
But a reputation as a ladies' paradise?
I never hear before...till a female friend told me.
She had went there for backpack traveling.
While she was there, she got a local guide for some guided sight seeing.
And the next thing she know, the guide hinted to her about sleeping over in her room.
She told him to fly kite.
So the guide told these:
'Jap & AngMo(Caucasian) ladies very good!'
'Singapore ladies good!'
'Malay & Indian ladies ok!'
'China ladies no good!'
I guess he meant about the ladies paying power.
After hearing this, I can't believe it.
But after searching the net, I came across these 2 reports.
So looks like this has been around for some times.
So who said that only guys go overseas to play?
Gals do too.

Robot 'girlfriend' and 'boyfriend'?

Robot 'girlfriend' and 'boyfriend'?

If you are still single by age 40, fear not, for you will have an option of dating a Japanese 'girlfriend' or 'boyfriend'.

With the creation of these life-like Japanese robot girlfriend and boyfriend, loneliness will soon be a thing of the past.

These realistic humanoid robots were created by Kokoro, a robot venture and Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). The female robot is an exact replica of an actual human model in Japan.

These robots not only look real, they are also able to make a variety of facial expressions and even speak and apparently respond to a variety of questions.

STOMPer IUIU wrote:

"This reminds me of the Japanese manga, Absolute Boyfriend, in which the female protagonist was given a 'perfect boyfriend' (a robot) for a three-day trial!

"Who knows the creators might have drawn their inspiration from the manga!

"Anyhow, I hope the creators can create better-looking male robots, like the ones in the drama adaptations of the manga!

"I wonder how much something like this will cost and whether or not it will be made available to the public."

PS:
Have we really come to this stage that we will need robot as replacement buddy?

SUV doing dangerous stuns on expressway

Saw this news on the web.
Reminded me of an incident about 5yrs back.
A pink colour car was in the most right lane of PIE and I was at the most left lane.
The driver of the pink colour car decided to make a 90 degrees turn to the CTE exit.
Luckily, I was driving at about 60km/hr, I managed to stop in time.
And even more lucky was the the expressway was empty and no cars behind me too.
Too bad, back then got no car camera to record it.
