When the landlord see tender earning money, they will up the rent.
Not bad ones will up a small percentage.
The greedy ones...the sky the limit.

Govt looking for more possibilities underground

Sure or not...later more flooding.
We already had more of it than before....

Criticise a minister but don't sling mud: Shanmugam

Well, what he said is true.
We can criticise but we shouldn't slender.
We won't like it if its direct to us.
Lets be more clear minded.

Nationalise public transport system

I support this idea.
As long its a private company, it will be more interested in profits margin.

Pritam Singh: It could have been resolved with a phone call

So did you bother to call the NEA officer to clarified?
So did you bother to call the hawkers to clarified?
So did you bother to call contractor to clarified?
Since you and your boss said you all knew how to do the job.

Attorney-General's Chambers acts against cartoonist Leslie Chew

Quite a lame reason from the illustrator.
Its quite clear who he was drawing about.
So either he changed his style or might as well be more straight forward.

Transport Minister personally checks out bus service at Khatib

Some people praised him for personally checking out the grounds.
Some people scolded for putting up a show.
Well, at least he is doing something.
Better than doing nothing at all.

25 foreign job seekers to go to jail for giving forged certificates

I seriously doubt that the figure is so low.
There are alot more.
So Manpower ministry really need to increase their checks.

Public can make own judgement on hawker centre cleaning saga: WP

Actually what it sounds to me,  he was saying the hawkers lied.
But from what I see, the hawkers were telling the truth.
If WP felt that the Environment Minister was wrong to accuse them?
Why not just sued him.
The Environment Minister had challenged them to sue him.
Since WP had alot of lawyers and law lecturers.
Why are them not willing to sue?
Unwilling or don't dare?

Application for citizenship by PR of 40 years rejected

Government should really re-look at their process for PR and Citizen.
Like this lady in the news, she had been living in Singapore for 40 years.
And she had 4 Singaporean kids.
What other reasons needed to not to approve her application?
We had so many new citizens that didn't lived in Singapore for even 5 years.
And also alot of these new citizens don't intend to really make Singapore their home.
Singapore is just a stepping stone to them.
Though Singapore don't allow dual citizenship, but who knows how many new citizens are?

Hints on way forward in protecting locals in job market

What's the point of taking meritocracy when you can't even protect your citizens' jobs?
I hope that our government should start to re-look at protecting its citizens' jobs.
So many developed, 1st world countries have laws that protect their own citizen's jobs.

Hail hits Singapore

At last, the rain had came.
But it was not a long one.
The night is still hot.
But what was strange was during the rain in the west, there was a hail.
This was uncommon in Singapore.
Luckily, no one was hurt by it.

Playing victim also playing politics leh

Playing victim also playing politics leh.
So now WP saying they are not playing politics?
Than why are you in this game now?
This whole thing of getting elected into Parliament is about playing politics.
Don't act like you don't know about it.
There is a saying in China, '做婊子还要立牌坊'.
Translation is 'being immoral yet still want a moral status'.
We all know that politics is dirty!
Pots and kettles are all black!

Hawkers vs AHPETC

So who is telling the truth?
AHPETC seem to be saying that the hawkers are lying.
Or rather they mean the NEA.
But are they themselves truthful?

Since they had done the full hawker centre cleaning last year.
Why are they still unclear about it?
Since knowing that they had to bear the full cost of cleaning, why bother to send the costing to the hawkers?
Shouldn't they be the one liaising between the contractor and hawkers?
Or they are just playing taichi?

Since they said that they going to be better than the other party.
Than why are they sticking to the minimum?
Its like saying, 'I had done my part according to the requirements, no need to be better.'

Why is cabby displaying Philippines flag decals on taxi?

So why?
If born and breed Singaporean, why not display Singapore flag?
If newly converted Singaporean from Philippines, why still display a country's he/she gave up?

Has HDB become their investment tool?

I am wondering why our public housing become an investment tools to the foreigners?
Had been hearing passengers from overseas talking about it with their fellow countrymen.
The more senior will tell the junior how to play around with the rules.
And earning money from it.
When ever I hear them talking about it, I really telling them off.
But what's the use?
They won't be bother with you.
HDB is supposed to be provide affordable housing for all Singapore citizens.
But now because of this, prices had went up so much.
Of cos there are some PR are really wanting to settle down in Singapore.
But alot are just using Singapore as a stepping stone.
So will HDB do something about it?
And start making HDB more affordable to Singaporeans?
