Drunk passenger jailed 6 weeks for kicking taxi driver

A drunk passenger who kicked a cabby three times near his rib cage during a trip was sentenced to six weeks' jail on Tuesday.
The technical associate committed the offence in Mr Tan Kin Hock's taxi on Sept 2, 2011.
Mr Tan, 43, told the court that he picked up Loh and another passenger.
He added that both the passengers smelled of alcohol.
He dropped one of them at Jurong, then proceeded to Farrer Road.
Loh suddenly told the driver to go to Queen's Road when they were reaching Dunearn Road.
Loh then started kicking Mr Tan on the left side of his body, near the rib cage.
He kicked Mr Tan on three occasions during the ride.
Mr Tan stopped the taxi at the Spanish Village condominium and sought a security guard's help while he called the police.
He also used his body to block Loh when he tried to run away.
Loh said in his defence that he did not attack the driver, and said Mr Tan grabbed him by the neck and pushed him against the billboard.
Loh is out on $10,000 bail, pending his appeal.
He could have been jailed for up to two years and/or fined up to $5,000 for voluntarily causing hurt.

PS:
Another drunk causing hurt to cabby.
Alcohol really made one loses their mind.
