TVBS report about Singlish....TVBS报道新加坡式英语

This is a news from Taiwan's TVBS news about Singlish.

What is funny is that they think everyone in Singapore only speak Singlish.

Singlish is a mix of more than 4 languages than it had reported.

Beside English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.

It also include Chinese dialects like Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew etc.

Also not forgetting some Japanese, Korean, French words too.

Singaporeans whom had English education till Secondary level are able to speak standard English.

（Some that didn't study till that level, also can speak too)

But we will only use it if we need to.

Singlish has become a language culture of Singapore.

Singlish had become a common language to the 4 major races in Singapore.

It had strengthen the bonds between us even more.

Come to think of it...which country doesn't have one?

(Unless they don't want to admit to it)

China have Chinlish which is mix of Chinese and English among their youngs.

Spain have Spanlish which is mix of Spanlish and English.

France have frenchlish which is mix of French and English.

Hong Kong have Cantonlish which is mix of Cantonese and English.

Taiwan also have Chinlish and also another one which I don't what its call.

Its a mix of Chinese and Min Nan Yu or Hokkien to Singaporeans.

有趣的是他们只认为新加坡人只说新加坡式英语。

新加坡式英语也不是报道的只有4种语言融合。

还有方言，日语，韩语，法语等等。。。

新加坡人，只要有通过英文教育至少到中学，都能说正式英语。

（有些没读到中学，也能说正式英语）

是看我们需要不需要说。

新加坡式英语以变成新加坡的语言文化了。

也变成新加坡4大种族的共同语言。

这语言也把新加坡4大种族拉得更紧近。

其实哪个国家没有这种语言？

（除非他们不想承认）

中国有英式中文。

西班牙有英式西班牙语。

法国有英式法语。

香港有英式广东语。

台湾也有英式中文和闽南式中文。
