STOMPer Orange paid an additional $3 as location charge on his taxi fare and wonders if there is such a fee to go to the Vietnam Embassy.

"I took a Prime taxi from a taxi stand at Commonwealth MRT station to the Vietnam Embassy at 10 Leedon Park on Monday, April 23 for my visa application.
"It took the cab six minutes to reach there with a distance run of two kilometres.
"The meter fare was $4.96 and there was a location charge of $3.00.
"I called Prime taxi hotline to enquire about the location charge. They said they would investigate. I had also emailed them all the details the next day.
"But there is no feedback from them till now.
"Is there a location charge to go to an embassy?"

PS:
If what STOMPer Orange said is true, this cabby is in big trouble.
Try not to take anyone as a fool as you may become the fool instead.
