Rainy argument

On his way to Sentosa, STOMPer KT encountered a cab driver who started the meter before he even got into the cab. The driver also tried to get the STOMPer to alight at the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Casino taxi stand so that he could enjoy the extra charge at that pick-up point.

The STOMPer wrote:

"A wet and rainy morning to start off the day with and what better way to worsen it?

"A difficult Comfort DelGro cab driver.

"After I flagged down his taxi, he started the fare meter before the cab even came to a complete halt and before I even boarded the cab!

"To my utter disgust, when told that my destination was in Sentosa, this driver commented that there were more telephone bookings that he could have taken up instead of going to Sentosa.

"After I retorted that I was actually the one paying him the fare, he then asked if it was the RWS Casino taxi stand that I was headed to.

"I told him that I was heading to Siloso Point in Sentosa, but he kept repeating the question on whether I was headed to the RWS Casino until I told him off and explained that I was going to Siloso Point to work, not to the Resorts World Casino to gamble.

"It appeared that he wanted to go the RWS Casino taxi stand so that he could charge passengers the extra $3.50 for fares starting from that pick-up point.

"Lastly, he drove so slowly even on the expressway, holding up traffic in the middle lane!

"What a disreputable cabby.

"I hope Comfort DelGro will deal with him accordingly."

PS:
Story might be one sided.
There might misunderstanding between them.
But if this stomper said is true, than this cabby must be out of his mind.
With internet so wide now, alot of things can't be sweep under the map.
