Cabbie's Christmas nightmare

Saw this news.
Sad that there are this type of very bad customers.
You can complain the driver to LTA, Newspaper or Stomp.
You can scold the the driver or pay the normal amount you always paid.
But hurting the driver like that is a no-no.
I really feel sorry for the driver.
But the driver also made the mistake of going the longer way too.
He should had asked the customers the actual location.
Also should ask which route they want if there are too many choices.
Its more troublesome but safer.
And to customers, don't be angry when cabby ask you.
It will be a win-win ways for both parties to avoid misunderstanding.

Singaporeans likes to complain?

This clip is from a variety show.
Though they might made it to look funny for entertainment.
But can't help to feel its not all false at all.
Is it only Singaporean or people are from all developed countries?
Or its only human's nature?

So what's with the mid American accent?

I was chatting with an English customer.
And the background radio was Class95 'Lunch with Yasmine'.

Suddenly he asked :"
I thought Singapore is speaking British English?
So what's with the mid American accent?"

I replied :"Maybe she was educated in the US?"

Cabbie found dead in his taxi

Cabbie found dead in his taxi

Really sad to see another cabby died on the job.
I will like to send my condolence to his family.

Dear fellow cabbies,
Work hard but do remember to rest when your body tell you to.
Money can be earn but health shouldn't be sacrificed for it.
Once you are gone, there will be no 2nd chance anymore.

Pls don't gamble......but I won't quit

Picked up a customer going to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
Along the way, she started to chat with me.
At 1st, she was telling me that its not safe for us to drive after midnight.
Than she started to talk about gambling.
She said about her gambling history.
She had lost more than she win.
She also told me the best not to gamble.
So I asked her why is she still gambling?
She said its her life...and she won't quit.

Mr Yusof Ishak's great granddaughter

Sent 2 Malay ladies to a mosque in Geylang Lor 37.
They were there to attend a wedding.
Because I had picked them up at another function.
So I asked them...they really had a busy day.
So they told me that they are attending a wedding.
The bride is none other than Mr Yusof Ishak's great granddaughter.
Congratulation to the new couple!
