Police said install CCTVs in taxis?

This episode talk about the cabby that got killed when robbery gone wrong.
What got my attention is what the police spokesperson said at the end of the program.

DSP Julius Lim said:
"For the safety of taxi drivers, the police will like to urge operators and taxi drivers to install GPS, CCTVs and distress button in your taxis."

LTA said we can't have camera facing passengers.
Now police said we should have CCTVs installed in taxis.
So who we should listen to?

Nostalgic images give a glimpse of life in Singapore during the 60s

Some photos from Singapore's past.
Some were taken way before I was born.
And some of the buildings had really became history.
And new buildings had taken over their place.
So its good to these photos to remember by.

Cabby jailed for punching fellow driver

Why did this cabby hit another fellow cabby over such small incident?
What's the point?
Better be late than be sorry.
The hitter cabby can count himself lucky to get off so lightly.
I hope he had learned his lesson.

Taxi driver threatens to drop off family with crying child for being too loud

Its quite a one sided story.
For an argument to start, it takes 2 hands to clap.
STOMPer was also at fault too.
If he had said, "sorry uncle, kid not felling well."
I doubt there will be any argument.
I also had noisy kids on board too.
But the different was that their parents explained the reason to me.

This lady got a good idea.
With the light, everyone nearby will know there is trouble.
Though not all will come to help, but at least some will.
Its better none.
Hope cab companies will think about it.
